April Lu

To April, her yoga practice is defined by values of patience, perseverance and discipline. There is no shortcut in the yoga practice (or any other things that are persistent in life). For her, consistent and safe practice is key.

Attracted by the fascinating cultural and spiritual tradition of Hatha yoga, April embarked on a two week training in Rishikesh, India in 2017. She found a deep connection to the philosophy of yoga, the path towards self-discovery. She never looked back since. As a disciplined practitioner herself and strong believer of self- practice, she practices over 10 hours a week consistently. Through her own experience, her teaching emphasises on alignment and synchronisation of breath.

April also enjoys the therapeutic elements of yoga, both physiological and psychological, especially in today’s growingly fast-paced world. Coming from a corporate background, she encounters a lot of people struggling with procrastination, fatigue, headaches, shoulder issues and back pains due to stress and poor body—mind awareness and connection. She feels responsible to share her practices and influence these very people around her who can benefit from yoga.

Hui Beng ong

Hui Beng first started yoga in 2010 out of curiosity but it ended up becoming part of a routine in him that he loves so much. He learnt that yoga's benefits go beyond the physical level; it heals the mind, releases the child in you, opens the heart and embrace it with truthfulness. It challenges him to become more flexible at the same time having strength. Throughout his years of practices, he became more passionate in sharing the benefits of yoga and eventually decided to dedicate this passion into teaching. As he loves music and dance, his classes seek to incorporate music to calm and free the mind and establish deeper connection with the inner body.
